Lovely, rural 2 person private holiday home near Almelo

This wonderfully rural holiday home for two persons is located on the edge of the village of Westerhaar with beautiful cycling, mountain bike, walking and horse riding routes in the vicinity. Westerhaar is located in the middle between Hardenberg and Almelo. The protected nature reserve Engbertsdijkvenen with heather, fens, peat and a peat museum is two kilometers away from the holiday home and is definitely worth a visit. 200 meters away there is a swimming pond, fishing pond and a bus stop. In Westerhaar there is a supermarket, butcher, ice cream parlor, restaurant, pizzeria, cafeteria and a farm shop. Cozy villages such as Hellendoorn, Hardenberg, Dedemsvaart, Ommen, Ootmarsum and Tubbergen are nearby.

Layout

Cosily furnished living room with a dining area and a seating area with TV. The open kitchen includes a microwave, induction hob, fridge, mini-oven, coffee maker, kettle and water softener. In the living room there is a cosy sleeping corner with a comfortable double bed. Upstairs there is another comfortable sofa bed for a possible third person. The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet. In the summer months, you can make use of a beautiful garden with garden room. There is also an outdoor kitchen and several seating areas (also covered). Parking is available at the holiday home. There is a shed where you can store your bicycles and it is possible to charge your bike.

Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk is a pleasant place in the municipality of Twenterand between the cities of Hardenberg and Almelo. In Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk you can do all your daily shopping, but for extensive shopping you can go to Hardenberg or Almelo. It is also fun shopping in Nordhorn just across the border with Germany. Westerhaar-Vriezenveensewijk is located in a peat area. Many facts about the time when the peat was excavated can be found in the Veenmuseum. The characteristic environment is ideal for wonderful walking or cycling trips.

Mooi vakantiehuis, Vriendelijke mevr die ons bij aankomst begroette en een rondleiding door t huis gaf. Verse eitjes, wijn en een biertje was verzorgd. Mooie tijd gehad, prachtig huis alles was voorzien. Net één minpuntje, er was geen kast voor onze kleren, van de bank dan maar een kledingkast gemaakt,bij vertrek nog een potje verse honing gehad.

Het huisje is prachtig, heel gezellig ingericht, alles aanwezig, en een heerlijke groene tuin en mooie plekjes om te zitten. Gerrit en Ineke zijn super gastvrij en verzorgende mensen. We hebben een heerlijke week gehad.

Een prachtig huisje met een uniek interieurontwerp waar je het aan niets ontbreekt. Als je dan ook nog eens hartelijk wordt ontvangen met koffie en wat lekkers, dan staat een heerlijk verblijf niets meer in de weg.
