6 persons holiday home in Steendam near the Schildmeer

This detached holiday home was built in the Scandinavian style and is suitable for six persons. The holiday home is located on a quiet, small-scale holiday park near the Schildmeer. At the park you will find, among other things, a marina, a trailer ramp with a boat crane and a pavilion with a lovely terrace. In the immediate vicinity, you can enjoy nature in the nature reserve 't Roegwold and the Schildmeer by bike, boat or on foot. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, such as hitting a ball at the golf club Duurswold, watching seals at the Punt van Reide or eating fresh fish in Termunterzijl. Because of its central location, Appingedam, Winschoten, Delfzijl and Sidderburen are easy to reach.

Layout

On the ground floor there is a living room with a television, DVD player and radio. Next to that, there is a cosy dining area and the open kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, kettle and a Senseo coffee machine. On the ground floor is one bedroom with a double bed and the bathroom with a shower, sink, toilet and washing machine.

Upstairs are the other two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with two single beds.

The spacious garden of about 675m2 has a furnished terrace, four sun loungers, parasol, barbecue and a storage shed. There is parking at the holiday home.

Location and surroundings

Steendam, Groningen

In Steendam you are really close to the Wadden Sea and thus close to the Wadden Islands. Have a unique experience and go mudflat hiking! Be accompanied over the mud flats by an experienced guide and learn all about the Dutch seabed. It is even possible to make a crossing on foot to (one of the) Wadden Islands. A short drive (and bike ride) away are historic Appingedam and port city Delfzijl, both incredibly different but really worth a visit. A little further away, but also very interesting is the seal center Pieterburen. For a day of culture sniffing, the city of Groningen is a must-see. With all its terraces, restaurants, stores, parks and museums perfect for a day out!

Leuk huisje, prima uitvalsbasis voor bezoek aan Groningen of andere bezienswaardigheden. Wij waren er 2 nachten in de winter, huisje voldeed aan onze verwachtingen. Het is warm, van alle gemakken voorzien. Alleen wel wat gehorig door houten constructie.
