Charming 2 person holiday home in Giethoorn near National Park Weerribben-Wieden

This two-person holiday home is located in the authentic water village of Giethoorn, within cycling distance of the picturesque centre. The house is attractively furnished and fully equipped. It is perfect to unwind after a wonderful boat trip, walk or bike ride. Various walking and cycling routes are possible directly from this holiday home. Set off and discover the beautiful surroundings of Overijssel, Drenthe and Friesland. A visit to the fortified town of Steenwijk is also a must. View Giethoorn from the water, make a trip with your own or rented boat through the cosy canals in Giethoorn or sail on the beautiful, surrounding lakes. You can moor your sloop or canoe at the holiday home.

Layout

This holiday home is suitable for two people and has an area of 50M2. The house is located in the owner's yard behind the main house. You enter the house in the hall, where you will also find the bathroom with shower and toilet. The modern living room is furnished with a comfortable couch, a table with two chairs and a television. The kitchen is fully equipped with a dishwasher, induction cooker, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and a kettle. Coffee-cups and tea are available. On the first floor you will find a landing with a sofa bed and a bedroom. The bedroom has a double bed, and there is also the possibility of adding one or two cots. Outside you have a lovely garden that you share with the owner of the holiday home. You can park your car in the yard.

Giethoorn's idyllic setting is thanks to National Park Weerribben-Wieden. From your cottage in Dutch Venice you step straight into the green world. Sail through the water village, discover the cosy terraces and restaurants, and visit museums. Explore the surroundings by taking a nice walking or cycling tour through the beautiful park and discover the unique flora and fauna the park has to offer. Rather do something active? Then take to the heights at klimbos Paasloo. Fun for children! If you would like to visit a big city and go shopping, you can go to Steenwijk, Meppel or Zwolle.
