Characteristic 2 person holiday home with pellet stove in Dwingeloo, Drenthe.

This characteristic holiday home is suitable for two persons and has a pellet stove which serves as central heating. From the doors you walk onto the terrace with an adjacent large lawn with a trampoline and swings. Within walking distance you will find Nationaalpark het Dwingelderveld with dozens of kilometres of woods and heathland where you can walk and cycle to your heart's content. The ideal base for nature lovers, peace and quiet seekers and sports enthusiasts. The neighbouring village of Dwingeloo has the most beautiful village square in Drenthe. The old centre is characterised by free farms and a beautiful church. In Dwingeloo, you can enjoy the various restaurants and several cosy terraces.

Layout

This characteristic vacation home is suitable for two people. The house is on one level and consists of two parts. The living area and a sleeping area, these areas can be closed off through a glass sliding door. The spacious living room has a sitting area with television and dining table, the open kitchen includes a Senseo coffee maker, kettle, fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and four-burner stove. The sleeping area has a double bed and in the hall there is a separate toilet and a bathroom with sink and shower. Outside there is a terrace with garden furniture.

Particularities

  • The pellet stove is filled on arrival and there is a large container full of wood pellets ready for use. Should more pellets be needed, you will pay a surcharge.
  • It is possible to accommodate two extra guests in this holiday home, two beds will be added to the bedroom for this purpose. There is a surcharge of EUR 50 per person per stay.
  • In the period 13 June 2025 to 4 July 2025, this property can only be booked per week from Friday to Friday. If you make a booking from Monday to Monday during this period, it will be manually adjusted to Friday to Friday.
  • The kitchen linen includes a set of a tea towel, towel and dish towel.

Location and surroundings

Dwingeloo, Drenthe

Dwingeloo is located in the beautiful Dwingelderveld National Park. Here you can enjoy the nature and tranquillity for which Drenthe is famous. You can also enjoy an active holiday here: there are endless cycling and walking routes through the beautiful woods and heathland in the area. Many activities are organised in the summer months: markets, stargazing evenings and the Midsummer Festival. For a special day out, you can visit Remembrance Centre Camp Westerbork, hire a boat in Giethoorn or stargaze in the Planetron. For a day of swimming, go to the Blue Lake or one of the many (indoor) swimming pools in the area.
